About the Show

Founded in 1962, The Philadelphia Antiques Show is one of the longest running antiques shows in the country. 2010 marks the 49th anniversary of the Show, and it continues to be internationally acclaimed as the premier American antiques and decorative arts show in the country.

Held annually, the Show features 50 pre-eminent dealers and galleries and is presented by a committee of more than 250 dedicated volunteers.

The Show is managed by Keeling Wainwright Associates.

Special Events
Each year, the highly anticipated Preview Gala inaugurates the four-day Show in truly grand fashion as a prominent sell-out event. To this day, the Gala continues to remain a leading social and fund-raising event and an increasingly important visitor attraction to Philadelphia.

In addition to the Gala, the Show presents a series of outstanding special events including lectures by world famous authorities on antiques, art, decoration and history. Private tours of notable antiques collections and historical sites are also available.

Loan Exhibit
Every year, the Show presents a loan exhibit which becomes the feature and theme of the entire event. Each exhibit is carefully documented and compiled in the annual Catalogue.

Beneficiary
One of the hallmark features of the Show is that it annually donates its proceeds to Penn Medicine. In the more than four decades of its existence, the Show has raised over $15 million towards the advancement of patient care at Penn Medicine.
